Privacy policy
This privacy policy applies to all services named in the legal notice: Backroad Country Radio and the websites for Ryan Robson, Blanca Robson / Cowboy Charlie and Whiskys Coming Home.

No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no obligation to do so.
2. Overview
I process personal data only as far as this is technically necessary to operate the websites and the internet radio, or where you send me data yourself (e.g. by email). No data is sold. No cookies are used for tracking or advertising. The website only stores your animation setting (on/off) locally in your browser; this information is not transmitted to me.
3. Hosting
Websites: The websites are hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, owner René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany.
Internet radio: The internet radio (stream, station page, player) runs on a server of netcup GmbH, Daimlerstraße 25, 76185 Karlsruhe, Germany, located in Nuremberg.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists or is being concluded with both providers. The data is processed in Germany.
4. Server log files when visiting the websites
When a page is requested, the web server automatically processes: IP address, date and time, page requested, referrer URL, browser and operating system used.
Purpose: delivering the page, security and error analysis.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functioning service).
Storage period: the host automatically deletes the log files after a short time.
5. Internet radio (stream and station page)
When you listen to the Backroad Country Radio stream – via the station page, a website, an app or a radio directory – the radio server (software AzuraCast) processes:
- the IP address of your device
- the player identifier (user agent, e.g. browser or app)
- the start, end and duration of the connection
- from this, an approximate location (country, possibly city) for listener statistics
Purpose: technical delivery of the stream, listener statistics (e.g. number of simultaneous listeners, countries), detection of misuse.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Storage period: connection and listener data is deleted automatically after 30 days. Statistics are kept only in aggregated form without reference to individuals.
The station page and the player show the track currently playing. For this, technically necessary connections to the radio server are made. The radio server sets no cookies while you listen or on the station page.
6. Radio directories and apps
Backroad Country Radio is or will be listed in directories such as radio-browser.info, TuneIn or radio.de. If you listen to the station through these services, their privacy policies apply in addition; I have no influence on their data processing.
7. Contact by email
If you write to me by email, I process your details (email address, name, content) to answer your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR.
The data is deleted once the request is dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
8. Links to external services
The websites link to Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Threads. Data is transmitted to the respective provider only when you click such a link; their privacy policy then applies.
Content from external providers (e.g. videos or players) is not embedded directly.
9. Your rights
You have the right at any time to - access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR), - rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), - erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), - restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), - data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), - objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR).

10. Artificial intelligence
Music, voices and images of the fictional characters are created with AI services (including Suno and ElevenLabs). No data of visitors or listeners is transmitted to these services.
11. Changes
I will adapt this privacy policy if the services or the legal situation change. The version published here applies.
